The 2020
COA/CORS/CORA
Annual Meeting

Due to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic,
the 2020 Annual Meeting is CANCELLED

General Info

Due to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, the COA leadership made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 COA, CORS and CORA Annual Meeting, scheduled for June 3-6, 2020 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

This hard decision was carefully deliberated by the Executive Committee and Board of Directors taking into account multiple factors including the significant financial impact on the COA.  We understand that many members have been waiting for information about the Annual Meeting for some time and thank you for your patience and understanding while we reviewed our various contracts and commitments.  Considerable time had to be dedicated to mitigating our liabilities before we were able to notify our membership.

Virtual Meeting

The Annual Meeting has always and continues to be a vital educational and networking opportunity. The COA, CORS, and CORA leadership are actively considering options to offer content from the 2020 program virtually and through other communication platforms. If you had abstracts accepted or were participating as a speaker, moderator or faculty in the program, we will contact you directly with more information once we further pursue alternative opportunities.

We Need Your Support

More than ever, we need to come together as a specialty and stand as a united front alongside our Association, supporting each other through these challenges and changes.  Your membership is vital and of paramount value to your colleagues and members of the COA.  If there was ever a time where the COA is most reliant on your support and dues payments, it is now.  If you have not yet renewed your membership for this year, please click on the link below.  Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support.

Thank YOU

We would like to acknowledge the exceptional work and dedication of our CPD Committee, Program Chairs, staff, and all speakers and presenters who contributed to this year’s program.  We recognize the efforts of those who registered or were planning to attend the Meeting and thank our sponsors and exhibitors for their participation and commitment.  We are truly saddened to cancel this year’s event; however, the health, safety, and professional obligations of our orthopaedic community is our top priority.
