Poster Presentation Guidelines

Welcome to the 2020 COA/CORS Annual Meeting in Halifax. Please take a moment to carefully review the important poster details below.

Poster set up: June 3, 12:00-17:00, Poster tear-down: June 6, 14:00-17:00, Ballroom Salon, Ballroom Level, HCC.

All poster presenters must register for the Meeting (Pre-register by April 24 for early bird rates).

All posters, number, title and authors, will appear in the poster listing that will be available online and the COA App. All posters will be mounted in the Ballroom salon near registration, on the Ballroom Level of the Halifax Convention Centre.

 

Poster Set-up

Poster boards will be ready for mounting on Wednesday, June 3 starting at 12:00. Poster set-up must be completed by 17:00 on Wednesday, June 3, prior to the beginning of the Opening Ceremonies.  Authors are encouraged to be at their displays during the Presidents’ Reception on Wednesday evening from 18:30-21:00, to answer questions. Authors should also be present at their posters during the breaks throughout the Meeting.

Poster Tear-down

All posters must be removed on Saturday, June 6, between 14:00-17:00, prior to the poster board dismantling.  It is the responsibility of the presenters to remove all materials; The COA staff will not assume responsibility for poster materials remaining after 17:00 on Saturday, June 6.

**Please note that the poster size is a maximum of 44” X 44” (112cm x 112 cm)

All oversized posters will be removed to accommodate the required 2 posters per board.

Posters should be self-explanatory, and you are encouraged to elaborate on particular points and further engage in discussions with supplementary information. Materials can be mounted with push pins/velcro, which will be provided on-site. Please avoid using heavy cardboard, as it may be difficult to keep in position.

For easy identification, provide a heading including the title and author(s) of the paper.  Do not write on the board.
