The Western Upper Limb Facility [WULF] | Sturgeon Hospital is offering a fellowship focused on the care of patients with injuries and disorders of the hand and upper limb. There is an emphasis on both soft tissue and bone pathology. The fellow will acquire clinical skills to evaluate and manage these patients. The fellow will develop expertise in advanced arthroscopic techniques, arthroplasty from the finger to shoulder, and will be exposed to high volume fracture clinics. There will be an introduction to microsurgery. One day a week will be dedicated to research and the fellow is expected to be involved with ongoing research projects and to complete a paper for presentation (at the COA or similar meeting) and submission for publication. The fellow will also be involved in monthly rounds presentations and resident teaching. The fellow will be expected to participate in call coverage.
