A Bull Session is a fast‑paced, interactive session where presenters share challenging cases and innovative ideas, then field lively, rapid‑fire questions from the audience to spark discussion and real‑time learning.
As an ode to this engaging format—long popular at meetings hosted by our east coast colleagues at the Atlantic Provinces Orthopaedic Society (APOS)—we are excited to bring the Bull Session to the COA Annual Meeting in St. John’s.
The Bull Session will take place on Wednesday, June 10, during the meeting’s Kick‑Off Session (formerly known as the Opening Ceremonies).
If you wish to contribute a case to this session, please email education@canorth.org.

A formal presentation format with 6 minutes for presentation, followed by 3 minutes of discussion.
What is the Chair's Choice session?
The Chair’s Choice Paper Session, which replaces the former Meeting Highlights session, features a curated selection of the most exceptional and compelling papers from the 2026 COA / CORS / CORA Annual Meeting, chosen by Dr. Nick Smith (2026 Annual Meeting Program Chair).
