À la fin de la séance, les participants pourront :

  1. Expliquer la crise climatique créée par les émissions de gaz à effet de serre et son impact sur la santé
  2. Identifier les trois principales sources de gaz à effet de serre au bloc opératoire
  3. Appliquer les apprentissages à leur établissement hospitalier pour réduire de façon importante les émissions de gaz à effet de serre de leur bloc opératoire

La présente activité est une activité d’apprentissage collectif agréée (section 1), au sens que lui donne le programme de Maintien du certificat du Collège royal des médecins et chirurgiens du Canada; elle a été approuvée par l’Association canadienne d’orthopédie. Vous pouvez déclarer un maximum de 1 heure (les crédits sont calculés automatiquement).

Les Drs Pierre Guy, Olufemi Ayeni et Sukhdeep Dulai, des chefs de file estimés dans le domaine de l’orthopédie, participeront à une discussion éclairante.

22nd Annual Canadian Orthopaedic Resident Forum (CORF)

April 26-28, 2024

CORF will be an intense 3 day program of interactive, non-didactic experiences. Groups will not exceed more than 12 people per group. Each group will have a dedicated session each morning and afternoon in each sub-specialty of orthopaedic surgery. During each session participants will undergo orals and OSCEs based on the Royal College examination process. All sessions will be in English but examination orals will be available in French.

Mandatory COA Membership: All CORF resident attendees are required to be Associate members of the Canadian Orthopaedic Association (COA). It’s free to join! Contact info@canorth.org.
