Webinar: Oral Antibiotic Treatment for Prosthetic Joint Infections

Join the Association of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Disease Canada (AMMI Canada) and the Canadian Orthopedic Association (COA) and Canadian Arthroplasty Society (CAS) for an insightful session comparing traditional intravenous treatments for bacterial bone and joint infections, including prosthetic joint infections, with the latest evidence on the effectiveness of oral antibiotic therapy.
This webinar aims to:

  • Summarize the recommendations in the AMMI Canada – COA Joint Statement on oral antibiotic treatment for bone and joint infections
  • Describe national practice patterns in the antibiotic management of prosthetic joint infections
  • Identify strategies to improve the uptake of oral antibiotic use in the management of prosthetic joint infections
