The Complex Primary Knee and Hip Replacement

Learn the basics of complex primary hip and knee arthroplasty in this virtual 2-part didactic and interactive course for junior residents. Led by experts in lower extremity arthroplasty from across Canada, each 90-minute module covers a wide range of fundamental topics and includes case-based breakout discussions.

Open to all residents in Canadian orthopaedic training programs, but best suited for PGY 1-3 residents. Free registration includes access to both Part I (Knee – January 31) and Part II (Hip – February 21) virtual modules.

CAS 2023 Annual Meeting – Thank you for attending!

The 12th CAS Annual Meeting welcomed 80 delegates from across the country for a two-day in-person educational program in Toronto that included a research session and tips and tricks discussions.  The CAS Executive were pleased to welcome the Hip Society’s Rothman-Ranawat Traveling Fellows as invited guest speakers, as well as highlight Canadian arthroplasty research through over 30 podium presentations from renowned hip and knee arthroplasty experts.  Congratulations are extended to Dr. James Howard (Western University) for  leading the program as Chair of the Education Committee, to newly-inducted CAS President, Dr. Jason Werle (University of Calgary) and immediate Past President, Dr. Eric Bohm (University of Manitoba) on their leadership appointments.
