Canadian Orthopaedic Association Basic Science Course
Registration is now open for the 2025-2026 year!
The course has transitioned permanently to a virtual format and has been divided into four modules spread over 2 years. This registration is for both dates below:
Module 1 (The Basics of Orthopaedic Basic Science) – Thursday, October 9, 2025
Module 2 (Non-Neoplastic Conditions) – Thursday, April 16, 2026

AMMI Canada, Canadian Arthroplasty Society and COA Present: Oral Antibiotic Treatment for Prosthetic Joint Infections
The Association of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Disease Canada (AMMI Canada) and the Canadian Orthopedic Association (COA) and Canadian Arthroplasty Society (CAS) hosted an insightful session comparing traditional intravenous treatments for bacterial bone and joint infections, including prosthetic joint infections, with the latest evidence on the effectiveness of oral antibiotic therapy.

7th Annual Canadian Conference for the Advancement of Surgical Education (C-CASE)

Accredited yearly by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and endorsed by the Canadian Association of Surgical Chairs (CASC), this conference is the only Canadian surgical education meeting. The Canadian Association of Chairs of Surgical Research hold their annual Golden Scalpel Research presentations at C-CASE. This year’s conference will cover various undergraduate and postgraduate surgical education topics relevant to universities and medical schools across Canada.

The Canadian Conference on Physician Health (CCPH) is a biennial conference that showcases both research and innovative initiatives related to improving physicians’ health and wellness within the medical training and practice environment.
