CORA & COTS Joint Webinar: IM Nailing of Femur and Tibia Fractures – Getting it Right the First Time

This recorded joint CORA (residents) and Canadian Orthopaedic Trauma Society (COTS) case‑based webinar features expert discussion led by COTS President Dr. Prism Schneider. 2026 CAS Arthroplasty Fundamentals for Residents – Hip Arthroplasty

AMMI Canada, Canadian Arthroplasty Society and COA Present: Oral Antibiotic Treatment for Prosthetic Joint Infections

The Association of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Disease Canada (AMMI Canada) and the Canadian Orthopedic Association (COA) and Canadian Arthroplasty Society (CAS) hosted an insightful session comparing traditional intravenous treatments for bacterial bone and joint infections, including prosthetic joint infections, with the latest evidence on the effectiveness of oral antibiotic therapy.

Join the Canadian Doctors Orchestra (CDO)

The Canadian Doctors Orchestra (CDO) invites physicians, residents, medical students, and other healthcare professionals who play orchestral instruments to join their national roster of healthcare musicians.

Participants receive music months in advance for individual preparation before gathering for a weekend of rehearsals, culminating in a charity concert performance. Their inaugural concert will take place in December in Victoria, BC, with all proceeds supporting healthcare-related charities.

The CDO aims to foster community, creativity, and wellness among healthcare professionals across Canada through music.
